573.30 The safety management system required under section 107.02 in respect of an applicant for, or a holder of, an approved maintenance organization (AMO) certificate authorizing the holder to perform maintenance on an aircraft operated under Subpart 5 of Part VII shall (a) meet the requirements of Subpart 7 of Part I and section 573.31; and (b) be under the control of the person responsible for maintenance appointed under paragraph 573.03(1)(a).
